For those not fully up to speed on this, Rotax has had a problem with &#8216;permeable&#8217; carburettor floats on most recent 912 series engines. Basically any faulty\u00a0floats absorb fuel and sink to the bottom of the float chamber, causing rough running and potentially overflowing fuel. Floats on affected engines had to be checked every 25 hours and if needed, replaced.<\/p>\n<p>The latest service bulletins (click on the numbers\u00a0to see &amp; download): <a title=\"Replacement Rotax carby floats bulletin\" href=\"http:\/\/legacy.rotaxowner.com\/si_tb_info\/serviceb\/sb-912-067.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SB-912-067<\/a> and <a title=\"Replacement Rotax carby floats (UL engine numbers)\" href=\"http:\/\/legacy.rotaxowner.com\/si_tb_info\/serviceb\/sb-912-067ul.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SB-912-067UL<\/a>\u00a0list the affected engine numbers and necessary actions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Rotax has posted <a title=\"How to get your replacement Rotax floats\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rotax-owner.com\/en\/rotax-blog\/item\/37-warranty-floats\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">information on their blog about how to get your replacement floats<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Australia, contact <a title=\"Bert Flood Imports Rotax Engines\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bertfloodimports.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bert Flood Imports<\/a> &#8211; phone 03 9735 5655 &#8211; near Melbourne, give\/send them your engine number, and they will send you replacement floats and an invoice for them.
