I&#8217;ve heard some before but not all of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/foxbatpilot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/smiley-aircraft2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3547\" src=\"http:\/\/foxbatpilot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/smiley-aircraft2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foxbatpilot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/smiley-aircraft2.jpg 585w, https:\/\/foxbatpilot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/smiley-aircraft2-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px\" \/><\/a>Happy smiling!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are more planes in the ocean than submarines in the sky<\/li>\n<li>The only time you\u2019ve got too much fuel is if you\u2019re on fire<\/li>\n<li>Flying is the second best thrill in the world \u2013 landing is the best<\/li>\n<li>Death is just nature\u2019s way of telling you to watch your airspeed<\/li>\n<li>You can watch the clouds go by \u2013 or fly above them<\/li>\n<li>An optimist invented the aeroplane, a pessimist invented the parachute<\/li>\n<li>A helicopter \u2013 thousands of parts flying round an oil leak waiting for metal fatigue<\/li>\n<li>The three most common aviation expressions: \u201cWhy is it doing that?\u201d, \u201cWhere are we?\u201d and \u201cOh crap\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Modern aerial warfare: a $70 million aeroplane drops a $350,000 bomb on a $10 tent<\/li>\n<li>In thrust we trust<\/li>\n<li>Engine power: lots is good, more is better, too much is almost enough<\/li>\n<li>Pilots get paid to sit and stare out of the window<\/li>\n<li>The emergency exit row \u2013 with great legroom comes great responsibility<\/li>\n<li>When all else fails \u2013 use duct tape<\/li>\n<li>When opening the overhead bins take care \u2013 shift happens<\/li>\n<li>Loud, sudden noises in a helicopter WILL get your undivided attention<\/li>\n<li>Latitude is where we got lost; lontitude is how long we\u2019ve been lost<\/li>\n<li>There are certain aircraft sounds that can only be heard at night or over water<\/li>\n<li>No need for a checklist, I\u2019ve got it all memorised<\/li>\n<li>Mummy, when I grow up I want to be a pilot.
